Pinching out tomatoes - and simultaneously propagating more tomatoes! My first attempt at growing tomatoes on my second floor windows in London, resulted in unruly triffids of plants. They had stems going everywhere! I didn't realise that vining tomatoes (sometimes also known, confusingly, I think, as 'indeterminate tomatoes') need to be pinched out.
