2015年2月4日 · I have been framing basement walls for years. I use 3 tapcon anchors per 8 ft run. Pre drill the treated base plate for the anchors, counter sink them a 1/4 inch, then lay a heavy bead of construction adhesive under the plate. Use a good concrete bit to drill the anchor holes. They should be at least an inch deep.

If you want fewer holes, I'd use a longer fastener. I agree with your point that the legs and joints will fail before the true strength of the concrete anchors is tested.

I'll be replacing the base, so I will need to remove the screw, remove the base, and then re-bolt the new base to the concrete. I will probably use new screws, but can I reuse the hole?
