Even TNA Joker Sting sort of made sense for what he was doing. early surfer Sting was actually a pretty exciting wrestler before his knee injury so that's definitely an acceptable answer. Crow Sting was his peak as far as popularity and career so I'll go with that though.

2023年4月13日 · The ending to Sting vs nwo in the form of the Hogan-Sting match at Starrcade '97 was so overwhelmingly awful that it effectively started the downfall of WCW. It was the hottest storyline in wrestling history but they completely f---ed it up with the worked shoot ending that was supposed to be a fast count but wasn't a fast count.
Something I don't see mentioned much is how great Sting's

He was in surfer Sting makeup but had been wearing black and white makeup, which then resulted in imposter Sting showing up and attacking Luger and Giant, maybe a few others (not sure what came first, the imposter look or Sting sporting black and white facepaint).

Ultimate Warrior/Hogan Smarks hate him as he is the obvious company favorite. 2011-2013 Loses the belt to CM Punk and becomes booked over CM Punk for the next two years. The '96 just before nWo arrives Sting is a cool look. He's still Surfer Sting but with long brown hair. He was also in great shape at that point. I believe Eric Bischoff said Sting was trying to get into movies at the time so he modernized his look. I thought it was a great version.
