Need Help With Basic Disassembly Stevens 820B Pump Shotgun
2016年10月5日 · I found 2 YouTube videos on the 820B, but they did not show removal of the barrel and forearm. There is another similar Stevens model pump featured in a YouTube video, but when I try to follow it by turning the magazine tube, it stops turning and I am afraid to use more force since that video is not specific to the 820B.

It is a Stevens model 820 and the barrel has been cut down to 19". I have several question about it. How old is it? Can I shoot modern ammo with it?

2003年7月28日 · The only thing on it says"J. Stevens Arms Company Model 38A, Chicopee Falls, Mass. .410 bore proof tested" and closer to the receiver it says that it can take 2 1/2 & 3 inch shells. There is also a small diamond marking with small lines coming of three of its faces.

2004年2月3日 · I have not been able to find any reference to a Savage or Stevens model 820 in any of my books. What kind of gun is it - automatic, pump, bolt, single-barrel, etc? Although I know nothing about that model, I will advise you not to just stick the receiver in a vise and start twisting on the barrel.

2012年5月6日 · I have a Savage/Stevens model 67 Series E 12 gauge that won't eject shells. The extractors pull the shells out with ease, and the shells simply fall onto the loader. The obvious issue is that the ejector is worn. While I am in there replacing the ejector, are there other parts I should consider replacing that could also be contributing the issue?

The right hand ejector popped out of the Stevens 820B I keep around the place for varmints(all varities) and I took it apart to see what caused the ejector to leave the bolt. I haven't found the reason as yet, no visible problems and everything is there.

2019年10月29日 · I have 2 Stevens 820B 12g shotguns. One is in great condition but needs the lifter pawl and spring. The second was a barn find and is a bit rough. I am going to restore it because I like the way they look and I enjoy doing it. The second one is missing the entire lifter assembly to include the lifter pawl and spring.

2016年12月24日 · My friend's father in law gave him a 12 gauge Stevens 820B pump shotgun. I was asked to clean & refurbish the metal and wood stocks. I plan to ask "Id and Value" info on that subforum soon, but while I know the gun is anything but new, I don't know how old it is. After a thorough cleaning, it successfully cycled and ejected 6 dummy rounds.
