Nov 27, 2018 · I have the base 6 speaker system in my 2015 Quad Cab Sport. Iv'e upgraded all the speakers & now moving on to a 8-10" sub. I do have heated & ventilated power seats in the front. I'm looking for a minimal install and the front seats seem to fit the bill. Possibly behind the back seat like I see another member did with his Rockville.

May 12, 2022 · I replaced all of the dash and door speakers with Infinity Reference in my 2012 with Alpine system. You are correct that the Alpine amp has built in crossovers that split the full range signal between the front doors and dash speakers. Back doors get almost full range singal with just the lowest lows cut off.

Jan 24, 2020 · Once all was installed and operational; I was able to balance everything first by disconnecting the factory amp speaker plug so I could use the built in DSP in the AC6.1200 to optimize the big six and subs together. Then I re-introduced the factory amp and tuned till it sounded good and blended well at max volume.

Aug 11, 2014 · In order to cure this you need to remove or bypass the infinity amp and come straight off the radio, or better yet replace the stock head unit with one that puts out at least 25 watts per channel. Apr 17, 2023 · I'd be looking for a 6 channel amplifier capable of putting out at least 50 watts RMS at 4 ohms that also had the ability to apply a high pass filter up to at least 80 hz. You'd set the amplifier gain lower on the 3.5" dash speakers since they're only rated up to 30 watts.

Dec 23, 2021 · It has a built-in dsp and it eliminated the factory amp/anc all together and was super easy to tune. The part that gets most ppl is that since the factory amp/anc is eliminated, you then have to drive all speakers from aftermarket amp.

May 19, 2021 · I added the VX1000/5I amp using a Pac 41 R2 for a clean signal. I also put in the C2690TX's in the front door (C2525X before). Because I have the base 6 speaker set up, I am using my back speakers as rear fill powered by a JL MX280 amp (need an amp and the R2 version of Pac 41 on the base six speaker set up. The base radio has no amp).

May 29, 2022 · I have a new Ram 1500 Crew Cab with the base 6 speaker system. 3 1/2 in the dash corners, 6x9 in all four doors. The consensus from most of the Ram forums is to go with Infinity 3032cfx in the Dash and Infinity REF-9633ix in all four doors.

Nov 20, 2013 · Yupp both front speakers have an amp attached to them with an infinity logo on them, and about six wires if I remember correctly. Both rear speakers just have two wires running to then so they will be easy to swap.
