PA speakers come with a plate for mounting them on a pole and lifting them into the air (thus improving projection into the room). You can add a bass player, keyboardist, mixer, and other musicians to a PA speaker…but not to an acoustic amp.

Not substantively different from a small powered speaker that has a couple inputs, except for (perhaps) a bit more tone control and effects.

2012年3月24日 · Amp v PA v powered speaker is a tough one to answer. I use powered speakers as acoustic amps but with my Radial preamp as part of the setup. I also have a decent 16 channel mixer, separate 2x31 band eq, compression and reverb and delay units for the bigger gigs.

For instance, a Yamaha MSR100 ($300) powered PA speaker and a Behringer 1202FX ($110) mixer has better sound and a lot more flexibility than any $410 acoustic amp I've heard. That'd be my two cents - and worth every penny.
