Just last week, I had to drill out holes in my new transom for motor mount, and drain. Because of the poor seal, the holes were eventually the downfall of the transom.

The white is used for fiberglass, the gray for metal. Although it is 'white' it will not dry to a gelcoat finish.

2009年8月5日 · marine tex is very easy to use. it's not easy to sand though. that said, your damage looks like it needs more than marine tex. what caused it? if that crack goes through the glass, you need to glass it back together. if there's any flexing, cracks will likely come back.

Automotive grade bondo is made with polyester resin and powdered gypsum (dry wall innards) The gypsum will soak up water where the filled area will eventually disintegrate.
