2018年10月8日 · HB released a software update on 9/12/18. One of the “fixes” includes “several issues with 2D sonar digital depth tracking”. This seems to be a common complaint on these units so hopefully, this resolves that.

2019年8月27日 · I have both Garmin and Humminbird, and I don’t remember which but one of those wants you to cut and paste the update to the card. The other wants the card in the computer and when you open the downloaded update it loads the update on the card. Try to see if you open the program with the card in it, it loads it to your SD card.

2020年2月1日 · There is indeed a dedicated Ice series in the Helix line. If you check the software between the Helix 7 Chirp GPS G2N (v2.180) and the ICE Helix 7 Chirp GPS G2N (v 2.110) they are different units. I do not know what the difference is but they are indeed different.

HumminBird PC is available from the HumminBird support page where you download the updates for your Bird from. All this being said my units are networked.
