2009年2月10日 · The HK416 is closest to the M4 so if you have years on an M4 the HK416 is likely the favorite due to familiarity, accuracy and reduced operator cleaning. If you are a new shooter (and do not hate "plastic" rifles!) the XM8 usually gets the nod due to the ergonomics, light weight and ease of use of the dual "ISM" sight.

2012年10月23日 · Regarding HK416 and OTB, per info I got from HK, since HK416A2 all variants are OTB rated. Actually "A2" designation was given when OTB became standard feature (A1 was given when firing pin safety was added). Before "A2" OTB was "special order feature". BTW OTB applies only to complete rifles, so "A2" upper on other lower is not OTB.

2020年8月28日 · I have a SF SOCOM SB2 suppressor for mine. The SB2 was designed around the G36C and HK416-non vented gb design. It is a very low pressure can, and while I run it on a 416 with a vented gb, it does very well. Compared to a RC2, I really couldn't tell a difference in sound on the 416.
