Looking around I find absolutely nothing that meets my needs, so now I'm deciding between spending 6 figured on a "custom build" vs. purchasing a van and doing the conversion myself haha.

2021年1月2日 · An 18" top will get you about 5'9" of interior height before installing insulation/flooring/etc. Tops that tall are actually pretty common on full sized domestic conversion vans. Many of the conversion vans don't look as tall inside because they were used fiberglass batting for insulation.

I have a 94 e-150 that has a high top fiberglass roof, it looks like a standard high top conversion van and I just went out and measured it and it is exactly 5 foot from floor to ceiling, 4'11 through most of it because there is a light and wood bar down the middle of the ceiling.
