Wrist Gesture Back Light Feature Unresponsive - Garmin Forums
I purchased an approach s62 today. I really want to love it but I feel the backlight gesture is a bit unresponsive. In order to make the back light illuminate I need to make what I feel is a slow pronounced gesture which doesn't feel natural. Has anyone else had this problem? I recently upgraded from a vivoactive 4 which was very responsive.

Aug 8, 2024 · The watch should be worn on the lead wrist, so if you are using left-handed golf clubs the watch should be worn on the right wrist. The watch will need to have a setting adjusted in the Settings > User Profile > Wrist section to reflect "Right" instead of being set to "Left'.

It should be tight enough that, when the device is gently pulled away from the wrist, light cannot escape from the gap, but not any tighter. In order for the optical wrist sensor to provide a Pulse Ox measurement, the user must remain sitting still, avoiding arm or other body movements.
