2023年7月29日 · MSI center is nice to have so you don’t have to go into bios every time. CPU-Z is a real program there to look at your CPU specs, that’s just an MSI skinned version. Same with AIDA64, a real program with MSI skin. Not too sure about the Realtek, but seems nice to have.

2022年5月31日 · PCI-E 3.0 is 8 GT/s while 4.0 is 16 GT/s. You will see 8 GT/s maximum because the board is not really a PCI-E 4.0 board. The bug is that the CPU-Z says it is, but it's not. It's not even CPU-Z fault, it's the MSI BIOS reporting it wrong.

Now having all msi components, including the s280 aio. Meg ace motherboard. The gpu. The psu. All msi brand. So center offers me full control of every peice.

PEG is "PCI Express Graphics" and IGD is "Integrated Graphics Display" (Ie: Motherboard or CPU) - this makes a big difference in setting up graphics to work properly in windows. I have a z370 and difference in performance was night and day when I fixed up my UEFI from CSM supported after repartitioning one of my drives from MBR to GPT.

2023年9月6日 · Running idle, my CPU seems to average around 70C (seems high), however whenever I open the MSI Center software to view CPU temp it immediately drops down to around 48C, then back up to 70C again if I either close or minimize the MSI Center software. So, if I'm ever looking at the CPU temp using the MSI Center software I see the lower value.

2020年8月27日 · A weird problem I ran into while tooling around with my new mobo. I installed Ryzen Master and CPU-Z just to verify a few things. Note that I don’t try to run these two programs at the same time. When I try to open CPU-Z the app freezes at 70% where it says it’s loading the sensors. A PC reboot fixes this.

2022年8月1日 · For some time CPU-Z had issue with MSI motherboards where timers would desync. Now they fixed it (but on my side it only fixes start and stop scenario). Could someone check for me on CPU-Z 2.01 on MSI mobo, preferably AM4 platform if: Clicking start and stop every second makes timers out of sync like on one of videos.
