2023年11月12日 · Just finished my shower tile and now looking for a grout sealer. I've found many different sealers online and have no idea which would be the best to use. I used a Platinum Gray grout on my ceramic shower tile, I'm looking for a sealer that will waterproof my tile seams without changing the color of the grout.
What's the best option for grout repair and re-sealing this shower?
2024年6月14日 · What's the drying time that should be followed between the grout caulk and the sealer, in an arid environment. I do wonder if using a high quality, tenacious and long-lasting, color matched elastomeric caulk over the top is as good as cutting out the existing grout and using the grout caulk.

2008年5月8日 · It will say it's for sealing slate etc. but it's the BEST grout protector you could ever think of putting on. Regular grout protectors need 2-3 coats and only last about a year and need to be re-applied as they are topical, not penetrating, whereas a sealer like Stonetech penetrates into the stone (grout in your case) and stays sealed for years.

2010年5月21日 · Do not use aerosol spray. They cause cancer and you do not want to breath in grout sealer mist. Use a brush type applicator and start from the top and work your way down. Do a couple coats right in a row because the sealer will run down the vertical tiles.

2006年11月20日 · Grout will always absorb some moisture, that's just the way it is. You could seal that portion of the grout and all of the grout for that matter. The sealer is intended to be stain and water reisitant but not necessarily waterproof, in fact most all tile sealers are vapor transmissive.
