2008年6月5日 · Typical sign of a bad blower motor resistor is fan only works on high which is full 12 volts and bypasses resistor which steps voltage down for slower speeds. It looks like there is a resistor for the blower motor if it is needed and it can be found in the roof. You'll have to verify the PN is correct. See item 80 in the attachment. Good luck!

2012年9月24日 · Most blowers are 3 speed, if so the resistor that gives it the multiple speeds is likely burnt out, it"s in the blower duct work with 3 spade connectors on it, ed. The resistor is mounted on the side of the blower motor bracket. There is no voltage anywhere on this resistor.

2017年6月23日 · If it's a 2-speed blower, your left motor is bad. Low speed on those connects the 2 motors in series, so a bad motor will kill both. High is parallel, each gets full voltage. A 3-speed blower has a resistor, but a 4430 shouldn't have that unless it's a replacement cab...

2012年4月21日 · Yes. After you lift the cab roof and get all the screws out of the big rectangular cover, it should be to the right of the blower motor (Right front corner of cab roof). It is a little board about the size of a business card with a coiled wire on it and some wire terminals. Should be fastened "on edge" if that makes sense.

2013年7月23日 · The resister powers the slower speeds and I think a relay powers the high speed on the blower motors. If one motor is bad, the other will still run on all speeds but feel weak. I can check my service manual tomorrow if someone else doesn't chime in on the relay.

2016年3月31日 · Using a test light I have juice at the resistor (both sides) and with the fan switch on high position I also have juice at the blower motor (both sides of the connectors). Still no fan movement. At this point can I be certain it's a bad motor, or can I test the positive and negative wires from the motor with an ohm meter ?

2015年1月25日 · More likely you have a problem in the switch. The resistor is on the ground side of the motor, so you'll always get battery voltage reference to ground if you've powered up the blower. You need to check with an ohmmeter between the ground side of the blower connector and ground while changing the switch position.
