2019年3月26日 · Great video, but feels it originates from a time with limited number of outboard comp’s. If for example you have 8 lines for drums, bass, elGtr, AccGtr, Keys, Grand Piano and 4-5 vocals, i’m Not sure it makes sense to compress them in groups, when you can fine tune each comp at channel level.

2021年2月18日 · New to Allen & Heath, Our church just purchased a SQ6 and DX 168 stage box. Have the stage box but anxiously waiting on the SQ6. We are upgrading from an XR18. Worship team has out grown it and we needed to upgrade, I have been trying to learn from you all via Forum, YouTube and Google.

2022年8月29日 · I had been using my SQ6 for recording as I purchased it pre covid and then lost the work I had intended it for. So it stayed in my studio for some recording jobs but recently I wanted to start using it for band rehearsal. So I am not very familiar with it and thought using it this way would help me learn it more.
Backup Scenes / Channels to USB? - Allen & Heath
2019年3月14日 · Hi, Actually you can only save a “Show” on USB stick. Manual says : “A ‘Show’ allows you to store all SQ settings and scenes at once, and is used to back-up the mixer settings, or transfer them to another SQ, using SQ-Drive.The show manager is located in the ‘Utility’ screen, in the ‘USB Data’ tab.”

2020年2月9日 · Just wondering what UPS you would recommend for an SQ6 – I’ve just become an owner of one by proxy and want to protect it from power cuts in my venue (like today when we had terrible weather and the whole village went out). I’m thinking an APC Smart UPS but not sure what size to use. Thanks in advance! Simon
DM0 + SQ5 + SQ6 clocking - Allen & Heath
2023年5月3日 · The Dante card in the SQ6 is a separate device and should clock from SQ6 by checking “sync to external” (ultimately deriving its clock from the DM0) The Dante system will then elect a clock leader. Because the card in the SQ6 is syncing to an external device, the Dante clocking rules will cause it to be elected as the Dante Leader clock.
