2019年12月4日 · I wanted to tint only for heat/UV rejection but want the visibility especially from the rear window. (i tend to look for "fast moving Dodges" just out of habit). Aesthetics baah, #stealth lifestyle. I originally was going to ceramic tint 35% on only the 6 side windows but now am thinking it may be to dark and just draw unwanted attention.

2020年2月16日 · I used Llumar Stratos. Front windshield did 80% which has a blue hue. Seen from outside the car, it has a rainbow effect.All other windows are 35%. 35% is perfect for me, cops don't really look at me and it is dark enough to give a bit of privacy and heat rejection is as good as it gets. In all honesty, 35% isn't too dark.

2020年6月15日 · Definitely get the tint meter tool, that should be enough proof otherwise. Man, paying $871 for just carbon tint, I think you paid quite a bit too much, sorry to say. I got Suntek CIR (ceramic tint) for about $200 cheaper, 30% front/back passenger windows, rear window in one piece, and also 80% for front windshield.

2023年8月23日 · Thanks all, I ended up going 35% all around and 80% windshield, looks great. Windows are still dark enough for me and the car looks elegant. The grey tone of the tint matches the silver of the paint really well. During cloudy conditions and evening the darkness is perfect, during full sun I think it could be better at 25-30%, but thats ok.

2019年12月1日 · I have a combination of 3M and Llumar tint (what my trusted shop uses) 20% ceramic on sides and half of the rear glass (line is visible from inside, but not visible from outside) and 70% crystalline on the front windshield. The tint % is a preference, but you should consider heat rejection more than tint %.
