Here in San Diego, the The Sprinter Pitstop has had twenty or so Sprinter vans parked outside their shop for years. They fix them up and sell them and have several different model years.

Jun 30, 2020 · Craigslist is where Westies seem to be advertised for sale most frequently. Occasionally one will be for sale on eBay. Traditional RV listing sites have them only once in a blue moon. There used to be a Westy for sale every so often from forum members, but the number of listings seems to have dropped dramatically.

Jan 11, 2010 · In the Sprinter world, I'll assume that a large percentage of DIY campers are built on a used chassis. My assumption is based on many of the postings on this forum. There are also the design-it-yourself and pay-a-reputable-converter vans. I think having having a reputable company do the conversion helps with resale value.

But had to compromise and go with one sliding door, but I got the window combination and mileage I was looking for. Plus alloy wheels, new bench seat, cruise control, and tow package. Be patient, in this economy lots of vans will come up for sale.

I'd like to go to a lot where I can compare vans at the same time. I am more interested in passenger vans but would consider a cargo one as well. Oct 14, 2024 · I'm using a 16ft 18 awg pre-made cable to connect to the Starlink so i wanted a 36v to account for voltage drop associated with 16ft of small guage wire cable. It's a different circuit from the one I've using from my over door panel to my Skylight. For my Skylight wiring i used 16 awg and only about 5ft, so a 24v booster is fine for it.
