2017年11月1日 · I’m considering selling an old iPhone and I don’t want to use Craiglist or ebay. I’ve seen quite a few recommendations on this forum to use Swappa. It uses PayPal to do the transaction so I know if the purchaser wants to dispute the purchase for some reason, PayPal usually sides with them. I just don’t want to get ripped off..

2016年7月2日 · I've purchased four iPhones on Swappa and only one was able to be activated on my account. The others were either iCloud locked or still active on another account. All were from dealers with high ratings and 300-1300 sales. Thankfully Walmart now offers brand new, full Apple warranty iPhone 5s phones for $150 that can also be used on Page Plus.

2019年9月29日 · After the Swappa seller fee, PayPal fee, and shipping (including insurance and signature) I ended up with $88 more than what Apple was offering for trade-in. Apple's trade-in offers seem to be getting more and more competitive each year, so much so that I don't think I'll bother with Swappa next year.

2011年10月10日 · I've been buying and selling on Swappa for years without any issues. I just sold my iPhone 14 Pro Max on there recently. Keep in mind, though, that there is a seller free, and then they charge tax to whatever you end up selling it for. You set the prices, though.

2016年7月2日 · Also, ask the swappa seller to do that before you buy and post a screen shot of what the result is. I have sold many, many sealed iPhones and this is how it worked with all of them, including the ones I purchased directly from Apple.

Communication between buyer and seller is important, maybe the buyer would be willing to pay for your shipping cost because in reality it was his mistake.
