2021年7月29日 · In my 91 NA, there's an enormous, noticeable difference with the hardtop on vs the hardtop off. Without the hardtop, the Miata shudders and shakes over every single bump in the road. I can feel it in my hands through the the steering wheel and in my ass through the seat. With the headlights popped up, you can see them shaking as you drive.

2018年11月1日 · Specific years are 2000 and 1997 respectively. Not vital at all unless you want the defroster to work. You could even just use the rear latches and front latches, and no striker plates.

2023年2月17日 · One Caveat, I drove an NC, the tops are arguably rarer but the OEM NA tops cost more, like, a lot more but like I said earlier, it’ll be brand new and for a rare oem piece like this that’s 30 years old I’d say it’s worth it.

I think the switch happened late 2002-2003 model year range. If affected, you'd need to either swap plates to match the older shape tips or order sets of the new tips for the top latches. The side latches use the same tips as the front ones but I'd assume you may get the side latches with the hardtop so no mismatch would occur there.

2021年2月1日 · Yeah only NA and NB if you are registered with Mazda in SCCA, but NC use a different Hardtop than the NB and NA it’s actually a more rare option than the PRHT option they had those years honestly a much better deal if you ask me for a manual softop and hardtop since they are less likely to have the gears and power stuff breaking
