Assuming the Louvre is still selling tickets on site (I haven't checked), there will be separate lines for those with tickets and those needing to buy tickets. There will also be a security line that everyone must go through.

The Louvre has completely bungled its relocation of the Mona Lisa and has closed the museum most days to all but those with timed tickets because of the resulting traffic jam. Museum Passes are not being accepted without timed reservation.

2023年1月4日 · The second week I stayed in the 1st near the Louvre and Rue Rivoli. A lot of people feel this area is to "industrial". I didn't really hang out in the direct vicinity, but I was a 5 minute walk to the Tuileries garden. I spent a lot of time in the garden with a paperback book. I could get anywhere from the Tuileries metro stop pretty easily.
