2018年11月10日 · Of course, my guitar “stand” is a floor mat remnant that I tuck in the back of my Origin 50 so that probably gives you some context (though I’ve seen more incidents with guitar falling out of stands or stands getting knocked over, than with guitars leaned on amps).

2019年5月25日 · Imo, it's a dealer display piece. I've seen them at guitar stores, often by the pedal-demo section. Ask at your local stores, or search for guitar amp stands online... one like it, from Fender or otherwise, is bound to turn up. Also, Fender had nothing to do with having that made. I'm sure they bought stands wholesale and put their banner on.

2015年3月4日 · I like a lo profile boom stand. If the amp is higher, a regular boom stand makes sense. A tripod is more stable and less likely to transfer stage noise and you can gaff tape the leg in place, but it takes up more real estate on the floor than a basic small round weighted base.

2023年7月14日 · 609 is my first-choice mic for most guitar cabs, studio and live. Not fizzy, not muddy, good transient response without being spiky, good for clean or driven sounds, and takes up less space and is less likely to get knocked out of position than a 57, even on a stand. For hanging, it’s either the 609 or the 906.

2024年2月24日 · Stand, tilted up. My calves don't hear so good. If it is on the floor I crank the highs, as I'm not hearing them, but the near audience gets skewered by the extra highs. I would rather hear what the mic is "hearing", so I can adjust accordingly for FOH sound. I do stand a little off axis so I'm not blasted by center cone piercing highs.

2018年5月24日 · I use the Audix Cab Grabber for the Heil PR30 on my Mesa Rectoverb 25, and a regular boom stand for the ribbon mic I use in combination (CAD Trion 7000). Cab Grabber is great, just make sure it fits your cab first. There's an XL version for deeper cabs. The best thing about it is that you can pretty much set it on your amp and leave it there.

2011年10月6日 · Situations where I'll use a stand: - The room is too boomy sounding for the amp to be on the floor. - There's a half wall or bar between the stage and audience. - It's a super long narrow room with low ceilings and I need it to cut all the way to the back. - I'm being miked and am running the amp too quiet to hear it on the floor.

2015年6月15日 · I read lots of advice about tilting your guitar amp back and aiming it at your head on stage. Also the method where you turn your amp backwards towards the band and mic it thru the PA. Basically using your amp as a guitar monitor. However when I look thru the "Photos of your last gig" thread I don't see anyone using either of these methods.

We have one stage we’ve played a few times that resonates with the guitar low frequencies like nobody’s business, and it can completely screw up the monitor mix unless the amp is on a stand. My fav are the low K&K amp stands - they tilt back enough to point the amp at your head but still nearly on the ground.

2023年12月30日 · My cab is a 1x12" and is placed under the mixing board which sits on an amp stand. Basically I have the amp stand raised high enough so I can place a 1x12 underneath it while the mixer sits on the horizontal arms of the amp stand. Depending on our stage layout, I'm either in front of the drums or in front of the mixing board/1x12 cab.
