New Machine Build CNC Router Vertical 4' x 8' - CNCzone
2021年4月9日 · Hi, I intend to design and build a vertical (or near vertical) 4' x 8' CNC router that is sufficiently beefy to mill aluminium or take deep and wide cuts in wood. I currently have a 2' x 4' flat bed router but my workshop is too small to go 4' x 8' flat bed, hence the vertical design.

DIY ATC automatic tool changer for cnc router.. Mythical or reality?

I read posts from several years ago that somebody built their own atc, but it had a few issues at speeds around 20k. Currently, I have a Hitachi router but would switch spindles for anything that works better with a ATC.

DIY Kit Reccomendations for 4x8 CNC Router - CNCzone
2022年1月24日 · I'm looking for a good, complete DIY 4'x8' CNC router kit. I don't mind supplying computer/router, etc. I'll be using the machine for cutting parts out of 1/4", 1/2" and 3/4" bamboo sheets. I found the blackfoot (blackFoot 4x8 v4.1 CNC Machine). Any others? Looking for a solid, stable design. Best, Jim

2019年3月22日 · Re: DIY CNC not cutting correct size I meant a 10 or 12 inch or l arger square you can't tell much on a small one. Same way cut a larger circle, you do not have to cut very deep just enough to measure, in fact you could do it with a marking pen.
Mach4+ESS or Acorn? - CNCzone
2018年2月8日 · Thought the CNC Ver12 software may be the same/similar across all controllers, it seems like you have to buy upgrade "plug-ins" for certain functions. With there being no way to expand on the inputs/outputs.. the Acorn will work great on simpler machines.. but be limited on a more developed one.

He first turned an aluminium bar about 40mm diam and cut some grooves on it but with rounded tops and bottoms.
