Remember This: Concrete wants to be as dry as possible until it's set and as wet as possible until it's cured. Do that and you'll get good concrete. Also, watch your cover on bars near the form.

Best bet is to get the weight of a yard of the particular type of concrete (fiber impregnated, slump, etc), break it down to weight per cubic foot. Get the cubic feet of the pipe... thickness of the pipe is important since this will determine the actual mass of concrete.

2013年10月24日 · As far as the OP's engineers advice I think he is way off as well. 40# per sq foot for a 3 inch thick reinforced concrete slab with corrugated steel underlayment on 24" spaced structural members seems way low. To be honest my books say the 3" thick slab weighs around 35# per sq foot alone.
