Does anybody know what happened to Barq’s Rootbeer?
Jun 9, 2020 · This keeps popping up on the product locator tab on the BARQ'S RB site. It's been over a month ago since this question has been posted here and still there are no actual reasons as to what happened to the inventory of BARQ's RB. There is something very peculiar going on here. It's got to be political!

Aug 24, 2023 · Barq's is so dissimilar to A&W that it's difficult to compare the two. They are like on opposite ends of the rootbeer spectrum. A&W is sweeter and flavored with a lot more vanilla. Barq's has a much stronger "rootbeer taste." And is flavored with a lot more wintergreen. Personally I MUCH prefer Barq's to A&W.

Mar 23, 2021 · Barq's has the caffeine element. It all comes down to one's taste. I prefer sweet root beers, so A&W is my preferred root beer among the mass produced sodas. Barq's and Mug aren't close to being my favorite, but I respect their place among root beer and their role in introducing people to the great drink we love.

How does it compare to Barq's, and how does it compare to Diet A&W? I do like Barq's but don't drink sugar anymore, but while I don't like regular A&W I find Diet A&W to be quite nice.
