I initially bought them as a joke because the tops were pink and I'm not the type to wear pink. You can see with heavy use, dozens and dozens of cleanings and oilings, they aren't really pink anymore.

My work-boots - I don't ride in them, because I've got dressage tack, and the leathers don't work well with cowboy boots - are a pair of Double H buckaroo boots. All of the above are wearing like iron, and super comfortable.

I actually just measured them, and they are almost the same width as my Ariat Heritage english tall boots. Sole to sole, they are just bare millimeters wider.

2011年10月20日 · I have Ariat paddock boots that lace up. They also had ones that zip up, but my experience with zip-up boots (winter boots) is that if I flex my ankles a lot, the zip starts to come undone. The lace boots are just as easy to put on and they are easier to customize, too.

If you are on a limited budget now, get a pair of decent paddock boots and save up for half chaps down the line. Please, don't waste your money on the low end brand because ultimately you'll have to replace them way sooner and spend more money in the long run.
