What's the normal Apple Pencil 2 standby battery drain?
2021年10月24日 · Recently I am noticing that my Apple Pencil 2 is draining really quickly when it's not in use. I usually keep the pencil off charger until I need to charge it. Two times now I've gone to use it and it's at 0%. I checked the battery in the morning and at night on a day where I didn't need to use it, and it went from 67% to 34% battery.

2024年5月7日 · We know the gen 2 Apple Pencil is not listed as compatible with M4 iPad Pros. Most assume this is because Apple moved the magnets to accommodate the landscape camera location. I wonder if the pencil’s operation works, but not the on device charging. IF that is the case, TechMatte sells a charger for the Apple Pencil gen 2 for $26.

2018年12月18日 · Just took my Apple Pencil over to the Apple Store and walked them through all the troubleshooting I've done. They agreed with me that it sounded like the Pencil itself was the culprit and they swapped the Pencil out for a new one. Have it paired and charging now. I'll update this thread once I get to test it out for a few days.

I found a workaround so far to keep my fingerprints off the iPad and still swipe up to go home or to the app switcher. I set up a virtual home button and virtual app switcher button which I’m able to use the Apple Pencil 2 with.

2021年5月21日 · They're having me return the bent pencil in the replacement's shipping box, and they'll cancel the charge once they get it back. That's fine by me, since it saves me the gas and time I'd spend on a 2-hr round trip to the nearest store. Apple isn't perfect, but I do appreciate how they handle things like this.
