Best rod and reel for trolling for albacore | Game Fishing Forum
2010年1月19日 · I hope to get a bait tank but probably not by this summer. I figure once I start dialing in bait stops then i can start acquiring specialized live bait rods and reels. Trolling seems the easiest way to start learning to fish tuna but I dont have any heavy gear. I have heavy B-10 diver rods but they are long and they only have salmon reels on them.

2016年12月8日 · yea so what if it came off a okuma thtas not the point.If you like fishing cheap gear go for it nothing wrong with it .I can catch fish on a 500$ rod or on a 25$ rod have done both.Im at a point that I enjoy having and fishing better gear.while raising my kids I scrimped and saved to give them everything they needed or wanted while i got by on what every I could find …

2010年10月28日 · +1 I have a 50 dollar okuma rod since 2003 that has always felt better to me than any rod i bought since, its my go to rod when my fishing goes south. I figure it has more to do with my confidence level though when fishing with it .I dont give my other rods much of a chance sometimes, but whatever works for ya is the best rod. Tup:

2008年3月4日 · I like them because they load up well, and the slow action helps keep the hooks set during a fight. Put the high modulus graphite in your drift-fishing gear, IMHO, where you actually are trying to feel the difference between the bottom and a take. For trout/kokanee, I'd buy 9' or longer Okuma Celilo noodle rods. Load up well, very inexpensive.

2013年5月21日 · I checked out the OKuma T-40X red rods. They look pretty sweet. ITs also lifetime warranty, but you have to register the rod online and send in return postage for them to look at it. TFO is 30 bucks and they send you a new rod after registering too. The Okuma T40X is 25% off at OE/Sportco right now.

2018年1月9日 · As for what I have commercially made, I have 2 Lamiglas CG80DH kokanee rods, that I used last season. These are really pretty sweet, 8' in length, 3/16-1/2 oz lure weight, moderate action, and carbon fiber handles. By far the best feeling commercially made kokanee rods that I own.
