2022年4月29日 — I don’t think I’m a music snob but I am very particular about the kind of music I like. I’m 26 but 98 percent of the music I listen to is 60s/70s/80s rock/pop. That was the best music, in my opinion. However, there are some modern bands that I like that I think sound a lot like that kind of rock.

If rock is going to be a relevant musical form, it needs to be being made by the young. It is being made by the young. But if people ask for modern rock music, and the best that we can give them is stuff that's decades old, it gives the impression that there isn't anyone coming in the next generation to make, and thus listen to, good rock music.

2022年3月31日 — I think it SEEMS like modern rock sucks because the first like 3 layers you go below the surface it's all trashy overproduced swag rock or pop indie music with no catchy melodies, but that's just because the nature of new music now is everything is way more niche. There's all these little microcosms of genres.

plenty of songs from the modern top 100 will survive and be remembered. the thing that has changed is that the internet has killed radio. having access to a huge catalog of music made it so i havent had to listen to the radio in 10 years. there is more great music being made now then ever before with the accessibility of high quality recording.
