If you already own a 7 or 9 inch Garmin from the last couple years, you’ve got the head unit to run Panoptix or Livescope already.

2020年6月28日 · 360 will give you a picture out in front of the boat without having to move a transducer. Both show fish, LS in real time; 360 every time the signal pans by. Bass fishing usually includes long casts direct to structure which 360 shows well and LS will when you pan by it. If you're doing a lot of drop shot, I'd use LS with down view.

2019年11月16日 · I've had both and would take 360 for largemouth any day. I plan to upgrade to mega360 sometime soon but have not seen it in person yet. Humminbird just emailed out a new video on it yesterday, you can probably find it on youtube. Livescope shines for crappie I think but I didn't find it nearly as useful for largemouth.

2021年3月25日 · So Livescope is real time sonar and mega 360 is side imaging in a circle. IMO, livescope excels at inspecting targets and 360 at finding targets. For crappie fishing, I'd recommend livescope. I don't know enough about walleye fishing to say. Bass fishing is a toss up depending on how he fishes. From what you've said, I'd say livescope.

Humminbird has slightly better side imaging and has 360 imaging as well. Mega live is comparable and works well enough but Garmin is just cleaner and clearer in my experience. I prefer hummingbirds for my main screens on my boat because of how well it talks to my trolling motor and my other graphs through my network.

2019年2月6日 · The 360 is a great tool for fishermen in its current form, though needs a big 2nd gen improvement to help slow the mass exodus over to Garmin that is happening as a result of Livescope. Like others, I’m interested in Livescope though not sure how best to use it with the run-n-gun style of fishing I tend to prefer.
