here’s my Sticky Toffee Date & Pecan Christmas Pudding. This is a marriage between the popular sticky toffee pudding, which we all love at Lavender & Lovage, and a big steamed, sticky sponge pudding.
For a Southern-inspired dessert, Herbert suggested using bourbon-flavored bacon on a pecan pie. Liven up drab cream pies by topping them with chopped fresh fruit for added texture and color.
1. Pre-heat oven to 350F and grease a 9x9 baking dish with non-stick spray. 2. Place torn bread inside baking dish and in a large saucepan whisk in 2 cups Holiday Nog, cinnamon and salt.
