A four-vehicle crash closed several lanes of Highway 101 near Cesar Chavez Street on Tuesday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol. The collision occurred just before 1:30 p.m. on the southbound side of 101,

The sinkhole was reported just before 10 a.m. on southbound Highway 101, south of Cesar Chavez Street. Caltrans said the two right lanes were closed as crews worked to repair the sinkhole. All lanes were reopened just before 11:30 a.m.
