Two people were taken to a hospital after a fire in an apartment building on Chicago's West Side Tuesday morning.

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson is proposing a $60 million property tax increase, much lower than his initial plan for a $300 million increase, which was unanimously rejected by the City Council.
