Two massive asteroids hit Earth around 35.65 million years ago, but did not lead to any lasting changes in the Earth’s climate, according to a new study by UCL researchers.
Researchers were able to discover over 100 small asteroids in the main asteroid belt. These asteroids, ranging from the size of a bus to a stadium, are the smallest ever detected in this region.
