Six people were injured during three shootings in New Orleans after large group fights escalated into gunfire on Bourbon and Canal Streets over the weekend.

In all, six people were wounded in those shootings, two of which happened along Canal Street and the other on Bourbon Street. New Orleans Police say the people committing those shootings are NOT from the Crescent City.

A man was shot to death on Louisiana Avenue on Sunday night, according to the New Orleans Police Department. The killing marked the fourth homicide of the weekend in New Orleans. Officers responded to the 2100 block of Louisiana Avenue around 8:30 p.
