The National Weather Service's forecast maps for Florida show mild temperatures ahead. Will the forecast hold for Thanksgiving?

In the weekend after the holiday and into the next week, much of the U.S. (besides Florida) will see cooler temps but Florida could see rain from the trough progressing eastward and interacting with moisture from the Gulf of Mexico, forecasters said.

Florida is bracing for a record-breaking Thanksgiving travel season, with millions of residents and tourists expected to hit the roads and skies. According to AAA Auto Club, a staggering 4.5 million Floridians are planning to travel over 50 miles for the holiday.
