An intricate system of 4 inch PVC pipe is then used to connect up each individual machine’s dust collection port. Even individual hand sanders get into the act via a three way manifold.

How I set up my whole shop overhead dust collection system using only one collector! Some of my runs are over 50’ long. I used 6” pvc as a trunk line and 4” for my drop-downs.
