Hi, Diane. What would you like to know about this attraction? Hi - my husband and I are considering staying in Kalutara in September and are wondering what the place is like? We would be staying in an all inclusive hotel and wondered if there are any restaurants, shops etc. that you could walk to, and what the town is like? Any advice would be great!! Many thanks, Diane

Hi Diane. Which hotel you are going to stay? All inclusive in Sri Lanka it's not like in Europe, usually you have to pay for brand coffee and imported alcohol drinks, sometimes for fresh juices. Kalutara it's a small town, it has supermarket, market, 2 hospitals, bus and train station, beautiful temple next to the river and 2 bridges, Catholic Church, Richmond castle and waterfall (for 2 last options better to go by tuk tuk taxi). More attractions you can see in Bentota - nice laguna, big temple, turtle farm, restaurants, boat safari.
