While people had phones in waterproof cases, for safety reasons they aren’t officially allowed on the rides, probably because you need both hands free and it’s dangerous to …

While people had phones in waterproof cases, for safety reasons they aren’t officially allowed on the rides, probably because you need both hands free and it’s dangerous to have anything around your neck. I guess people must have stashed the cases in their swimsuits - there’s plenty of shorts with side pockets so that would be my advice.
